  • Vintage Pilgrim Style Cranberry Swirl Glass Posy Vase – Ruffled Rim

  • £20.00

:  at  £20.00  each

Beautiful little cranberry pink glass posy vase, with a striking spiral ribbed body, delicate clear applied glass rigaree around the neck and a wonderfully scalloped, ruffled rim. A lovely example of decorative blown glass, closely matching examples attributed to Pilgrim Glass of West Virginia, USA, known for its colourful handcrafted glassware during the second half of the 20th century. The cranberry colour runs through the glass rather than being surface painted. The base has a smooth recessed pontil, and there are a couple of tiny trapped air bubbles from manufacture. Condition: Excellent, with no chips or cracks. Measurements: Approximately 8cm high × 7cm wide. Maker: Unmarked, attributed to Pilgrim Glass based on a closely matching example. A gorgeous little piece for collectors of cranberry glass or vintage decorative glass.
