Vintage Marbled Art Glass Posy Vase – Aqua Green & Burgundy A beautiful little art glass vase with wonderfully fluid, swirling ribbons of soft aqua, sea green, milky white and deep burgundy. The colours flow around its rounded body in an almost geological pattern, reminiscent of polished agate or layers of natural stone. Its distinctive shape features a generous, flattened flared rim above a beautifully rounded body, making it just as attractive displayed empty as it would be holding a few delicate stems. The swirling decoration gives the piece a lovely sense of movement, with the patterns changing as the vase is turned. Details - Height: 9 cm - Width: approximately 10 cm - Material: Art glass - Technique: Appears hand-blown with incorporated coloured glass - Maker: Unidentified - Period: Possibly late 20th century, exact age unknown Excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Beautifully preserved glass with its distinctive swirling colours and flared rim intact. Styling suggestion Beautiful on a windowsill where natural daylight can illuminate the glass, or displayed on a simple wooden shelf alongside other vintage glass and ceramics. A charming little piece for collectors of decorative art glass or anyone who appreciates unusual colour combinations and individual craftsmanship.
