  • £65.00

:  at  £65.00  each

A striking large ceramic vase by Benaya Art Ceramics, featuring a stylised seated woman in rich blue, pink, cream and earthy tones. The dramatically tapered form, broad flared rim and expressive figurative decoration give the piece a wonderful Art Deco and Cubist character. Decorative panels and fluid dark outlines continue around the vase, making it an impressive statement piece from every angle. The base carries the printed Benaya mark together with the hand-applied initials “GG” and the date ’08. Benaya is particularly known for its colourful figurative and decorative ceramics, including its distinctive sculptural and dress-form vases. CONDITION Perfect vintage condition with no chips, cracks or damage. Light crazing to the glaze is visible on the base and is consistent with the ceramic finish. MEASUREMENTS Height: approximately 28 cm Width: approximately 23 cm A substantial and highly decorative vase that would work beautifully in an eclectic, Art Deco-inspired or contemporary interior. It also makes an excellent collector’s piece for admirers of Benaya ceramics and figurative art pottery. Please study all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description. Any flowers or styling accessories shown are not included.
